A dedicated counter for durood (salawat) upon the Prophet ﷺ. Tap to count; your durood count is saved on your device, separate from the istighfar and tasbih counters, so a daily or Friday target carries over exactly where you left it.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Allāhumma ṣalli 'alā Muḥammadin wa 'alā āli Muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad
The Reward of Every Salawat
In Sahih Muslim the Prophet ﷺ said: whoever sends one blessing upon me, Allah sends ten upon him. Every tap on this counter, said with presence, is answered tenfold from above — there are few easier trades in the religion.
Durood Ibrahim — The Complete Form
The fullest form of salawat is the one recited in every prayer, taught by the Prophet ﷺ when the Companions asked how to send blessings upon him:
Allāhumma ṣalli 'alā Muḥammadin wa 'alā āli Muḥammad, kamā ṣallayta 'alā Ibrāhīma wa 'alā āli Ibrāhīm, innaka ḥamīdun majīd. Allāhumma bārik 'alā Muḥammadin wa 'alā āli Muḥammad, kamā bārakta 'alā Ibrāhīma wa 'alā āli Ibrāhīm, innaka ḥamīdun majīd
Fridays and Durood
The sunnah singles out Friday: the Prophet ﷺ instructed to increase salawat upon him on Friday and its night, for the salawat of his ummah are presented to him (Sunan Abi Dawud). Many set a Friday target of 300 or 1000 on this counter — both are in the target list.
Durood in Times of Grief
Salawat carries a special comfort for the heavy-hearted: in the famous hadith of Ubayy ibn Ka’b (Jami’ at-Tirmidhi), when he asked how much of his dua he should devote to salawat and finally said “all of it,” the Prophet ﷺ replied: then your concerns will be sufficed and your sin forgiven. Alongside the duas for the deceased and istighfar, steady durood is among the surest ways a grieving heart finds ease — the Qur’an’s promise that with hardship comes ease travels these roads.
No fixed number is obligatory. Common personal targets are 100 daily and more on Fridays — some keep 300 or 1000 for Friday. The hadith promise is per salawat: one blessing sent, ten received. Durood Ibrahim — the form recited in salah — is the most complete and most authentically established. The shorter Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad also fulfils the command and suits fast counting. Yes — it is stored only on your own device, never sent to us. Each counter on this site keeps its own separate count. How many times should I recite durood daily?
